Is.61:8-9<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>What is\u00a0 driving the restoration to wholeness? God&#8217;s love of justice.<\/p>\n<p>He hates robbery and wrong. Many who have been spiritually abused were robbed of their reputations and of their bonds with others in the congregations by the false narratives of the leaders they should have been able to trust. The word translated &#8220;wrong&#8221; here is connected with burnt offerings. (See ESV footnote and other translations.) What connection might there be with Matt. 5:23-24?<\/p>\n<p>Many children of adults who experience spiritual abuse are also harmed.
